Applied Mathematics (MA75)
At UC San Diego, we provide courses of study that introduce students to the fundamentals of mathematics and allow them to master the most important parts of the subject both pure and applied. By offering four graduate programs, and with a faculty encompassing a variety of fields, the department seeks to accommodate varied student interests in mathematics, encouraging an interdisciplinary focus that fosters program diversity.
