The MAS degree program is self-funded and there are no available discounts. The standard Educational Fee and Non-resident Tuition is waived; however, MAS students are required to pay a per-unit course fee set by the program. Refer to the program website or MAS program office for complete fee schedule.

Basic Requirement

GRE General is recommended.

Please Note: The GRE is ONLY recommended for those with less than two years of work experience. If you have more than two years of work experience, you do NOT need to report GRE scores as they will not affect your application. We will not provide any information regarding average GRE scores of admitted students.
English Proficiency Exams

(international applicants only)

A test of English language proficiency is required for international applicants whose native language is not English and who have not studied full-time for one uninterrupted academic year at a university-level institution in which English is the language of instruction and in a country where English is a dominant language.

The following test(s) are accepted by this department:

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

TOEFL exam may be waived for those working in the US for more than one year or with a phone interview.
Letters of Recommendation

Minimum of 2 recommendations required.

3 Letters of Recommendation are preferred. Letters of recommendation are highly encouraged to come from current or recent supervisors who can speak to your professional skills and abilities, as well as your potential for success in the AESE program.

Additional Requirements

Five years of professional work experience post bachelor's degree highly encouraged.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or other Science field preferred.
